IKEA did a very creative and effective campaign for their new store in Malmö. They created a Facebook profile for the store manager, order uploaded pictures of various showrooms and let people tag themselves on the items on show. The first one to tag an item won it. Brilliant “viral” and social marketing, for sale yielding high returns from low cost input.
